Faculty of Management Studies

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA Honors)

Eligibility and Admission Criteria
Those who have completed FA/ F.Sc/ I.Com/ A-Level or equivalent with minimum second division are eligible for admission. However, admission will be granted on the basis of merit, determined on the basis of admission test and academic record.

Requirements of the degree
The degree is awarded after completion of 126 credit hours with minimum CGPA of 2.0 and an internship of 6 to 8 weeks with any organization. The degree requirements are normally completed in 4 years spreading over 8 semesters.

Masters of Business Administration (MBA)

Eligibility and Admission Criteria
Students with any of the following qualifications are eligible for admission:

1. BBA (Hons.)/BS (Hons.)-Management/BPA (Hons.)/B.Com (Hons.) with minimum CGPA 2.5.
2. BS (Hon) in non-business discipline with minimum CGPA 2.5.
3. BA/B.Sc/B.Com with minimum Second Division.

MBA (Banking and Finance)

Eligibility and Admission Criteria
Those who have B.A/ B.Sc./B.Com or equivalent (14 years degree) with minimum second division are eligible for admission.

MBA Executive

Eligibility and Admission Criteria
Students with following education and work experience are eligible to apply;

1. BA/B.Sc./B.Com (14 years of graduation) with minimum second division.
2. Four years of professional work experience.

Admission Requirements (Information Technology)

BS Computer Science

Eligibility

• Intermediate or equivalent with minimum 2nd division.
• The students awaiting result may also apply for admission on provisional basis.

MS (Computer Science)

Eligibility:

• BS or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.0/4.0
• (60 % marks).
• The students awaiting result may also apply for admission on provisional basis. Students must qualify NTS GAT-General to be eligible for admission.

Ph.D. (Computer Science)

Eligibility:

• MS or equivalent with minimum CGPA 3.0/4.0

B.Com. (Honors) Program
(Accounting & Finance / Banking & Finance / Human Resource Management)

• This Program leads to eighteen-year qualification and a candidate qualifies for admission after sixteen years of study.

M.Phil. (Leading to Ph.D.) Program

Eligibility

This program is an eighteen-year qualification and a candidate qualifies for admission after sixteen years of study.

• GAT General and Admission Test (As required by HEC)

Ph.D. in Commerce Program

Eligibility

• M. Phil./MS/Equivalent degree/18 years qualification
• Minimum 3.0 CGPA in Semester System/1st Division in Annual System
• 50% percentile score in GAT General and Admission Test

BS (EE)

Eligibility for Admission

For admission to B.Sc (E.E) Program a candidate is required to have passed:

• F.Sc (Pre-Engineering)/ A' Level* (Math, Physics & Chemistry) with at least 60% marks
  OR
• Diploma in Associate Electrical/ Electronic Engineering with at least 60% marks
• A-Lever students have to submit equivalence certificate issued by Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).

Admission is granted strictly on merit which is determined on the basis of marks obtained in the following examinations:

• HSSC - A-Levels/ Equivalent Exam Results
• Entry Test â?? This test has 30% weight age and is considered for eligibility only.

NOTE: The merit and waiting lists are posted on the website and the notice board of Faculty. Admission letters to the successful applicants are issued and the fees are to be paid within three days after the issuance of these letters.
